Lesson Studio

Pitch and his music team offer online and in person instruction at our San Marcos / San Elijo Music Studio for…

We are available for private lessons as well as workshops and masterclasses.  Our teachers have taught music lessons from one side of the continental United States as well as perform around the globe.  Pitch Michael lessons has been in San Diego for over a decade recently opening a storefront location in San Elijo in 2022.

LEARN TO PLAY, COMPOSE, & RECORD

Pitch Michael  pushes music lessons a bit further from the private music lessons of the past.  We give our students focused instruction and feedback on how to PLAY their instruments to the best of their ability.  As they begin to get the fundamentals of the instrument underway, we start to nurture the creative side in our students as we show them the simple tools and tricks that inevitably give them the confidence to begin to COMPOSE, WRITE & ARRANGE MUSIC.  Once they have finished a composition, song or arrangement, it’s time to step into our music studio sound booth at Pitch Michel Studio and begin to RECORD.

Why Pitch Michael?

Raising up the next generation of musicians and performers is not an option for Pitch, it’s a necessity!

“I would be nowhere as a performer and songwriter without the time, energy, and insight bestowed upon my by the musical veterans of the generations before me.” ~Pitch Michael

Pitch believes music should be enjoyable!  This may sound like an obvious statement but Pitch finds himself receiving many ‘refugee’ students from teachers who did not make learning fun for them.  Hard work and practicing can be less of a burden if you are studying something you want to learn.  Every student has different interests when it comes to music, one piano student may enjoy Beethoven, where as one guitar student may really love Van Halen.   Pitch’s method of teaching music is fluid enough to incorporate the students interests while still holding to the integrity of teaching the music principles, music theory, and music techniques properly.
